Product Description
The Blue Oompa Loompa Head Knocker is a resin-sculpture standing about 8â tall. This is an atypical worker Oompa Loompa, wearing a factory-issue purple jumpsuit. There are no obvious physical differences between one Oompa Loompa and another. Those shown in the film are almost exclusively male. They all look just like this guy, a small, officious archetypal product of Loompaland. Willy Wonka, on an expedition-style quest to scour the far reaches of the world for inventive new candy flavors, discovered the Oompa Loompas while visiting Loompaland. There, the Oompa Loompas were somewhat tribal in disposition, with a diet that included smashed caterpillar snot. (Wonka himself was invited to sample this delicacy, and needless to say, the caterpillar snot did not make his list for potential new candy flavors.) Wonka did, however, sense potential in the Oompa Loompas themselves, which caused him to recruit them as factory workers.
