greatest pirate ship October 8, 2008 I bought this pirate ship for my sons first birthday. He loves it, he likes the pirates that come with it. It is a nice size and has a lot of detail and it has wheels at the bottom, so it can be pushed around. The sails do come off easily, so just leave the ties on them. I did a lot of researching for the perfect pirate ship toy and it came down to this one.
Best choice for Toddler Pirate Ship January 11, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I agree with the first review, this is the best choice for a pirate ship! My son received this for his 2nd birthday, and he has played with it every day since then. There is also Play Town: Pirate & First Mate 2-Pack available which is a great addition to the pirate ship, and there is plenty of places to put all four pirates on the ship. This ship is built so well, it will probably still be around when I have grandchildren!
Good toy. January 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Despite the many tempting choices for pirate ships, this is the one we chose for my 18 month old son based on the multitude of ways he could play with it. It has a spinning wheel to turn, a moveable looking glass, an anchor that goes up and down, a canon that can click to either side of the boat, a removable treasure chest with hinged top, removable sails, removable flag, and last but not least a plank that pulls out.
The toy is extremely well made and sturdy! It's pleasing to the eye because of the muted colors and nice touches of real wood. My son enjoys playing with it, and will probably enjoy it for quite some time.
