This was the first RC car I have bought in a long time. It is an expensive toy, but I was surprised by the detail of the running gear. The car is rear wheel drive and even has a differential, and you can even change the gear ratio.
All four corners have a sprung suspension, and included are different springs for different handling characteristics. Also included is two sets of tires for different surfaces. There is even more ways to tune the car to your needs, but I've just used it as it came out of the box.
Anyone who wants to tinker with it will have plenty to work with, and overall it seems high quality. I think younger kids would render the car inoperable in short order, but older kids and above oughta have fun
