castle January 7, 2009 Nice castle, well constructed, the castle figures don't fit in the rooms, but I think it's that way for all castles. It's a good value if you have a child that enjoys knights.
Papo knights do not fit August 20, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this castle with a kingdom of papo knights for my son's birthday. While he is enjoying the castle, to my dismay the papo knights do not fit in any of the rooms of the castle, including the prison or breakaway wall. They are too big. This limits the play severely if you buy the papo knights (which most people would do since it is the same brand!). Other than that, the castle is nice looking and sturdy enough.
Not great, but okay March 13, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
We bought this for our 9 year old's birthday. I wanted to go with the Schleich castle, but my son really like the blue of this castle. When he open the gift he was thrilled. But once the castle was put together his thrill went down hill. The pieces are flimsy wood and not holding up well to nine year old play. The castle is not sized right for the papo and Schleich knights. Over all I would really give this a 2.5 star rating. Maybe it woudl be fine for children who are very easy on their toys, but it didn't live up to my sons expectations
Great fun for young &old! December 26, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this castle set for my son for Christmas. Having already owned some of the Papo knights, I knew we needed a proper place for them to call home! It came partically pre-assembled, so putting it together wasn't a huge undertaking. This castle is beautifully manufactured! On X-mas morning, there wasn't a boy in the house (including my son's grandfather!) that could resist lowering the drawbridge, ramming the break away wall, or scaling knights to the tops of the towers. It is definately something that will be played with for many years to come!
