Editorial Review "Ready for take-off
here we go!" Diminutive pilots in training can let their imagination take flight with this stocky, swooshy, wiggly-wobbly airplane. Measuring 12 inches nose to tail, and 8 inches from wingtip to wingtip, this sturdy plastic plane features a pilot, two passengers, a piece of luggage, a door that opens, six windows, including the pilot's windshield, a handle over the cut-out top, working wheels (which make the pilot and passengers go up and down as if encountering turbulence), and the obligatory face on the front of the craft. Push down on the pilot in her seat (yes, her seat
we are in the 21st century, you know!) for flashing lights, a tune, flight attendant commentary, and swooshing airplane sounds. Judging from the outfits of the passengers and the palm tree design on the wings, this aircraft seems to be headed for a tropical port--airport, that is. What's not to love? Check out the entire line of Lil' Movers vehicles. Three AA batteries required (not included). (Ages 18 months to 3 years) --Emilie Coulter

Great Airplane for Toddler September 5, 2010 Rheana Hall My son got this for Christmas when he was 1 and a 1/2. He loved it them and now plays with it even more, he is 2 now. Makes noise and sings!
Fisher Price Little People never disappoints August 15, 2010 Stacey Reynolds (North Carolina) My three kids loved this. My eldest is almost 8 and even she played with it. It is safe, with no choking parts. My little baby boy loves it. We have bought a lot of little people items over the years. The only set that I found a little iffy was the Dora Hacienda. It had a recall for lead and it could clamp down or pinch if you weren't careful. The castle, doll house, airplane and barn have all been constant winners with my kids. They are not cheap, but they last.
A good toy for imagination August 12, 2010 D. Newell (Los Angeles, CA) My son just received this toy for his first birthday. There isn't that much to explain about it- it's a simple plane with a pilot and two passengers. It makes a few sounds. My son seems to enjoy putting the people in and out of the plane. My three year old daughter had tons of fun with it too pretending that the people were going on a trip and then flying the people around. It's a good toy for encouraging pretend play and imagination. Seems to be quite durable too!
Fisher-Price Little People 'Lil Movers Airplane August 10, 2010 burbleburbank I bought this for a 1 year old boy who has been on airplanes since he was 3 months old. He walks around the house with the 'Lil people in his hands and loves this toy. I think he will grow into this toy for years to come. It is very durable and I like the size of the people--they are large enough so that they don't present a swallowing danger.
Great Toy June 5, 2010 Ella Hall (Ellensburg, Wa) My daughter got this for her first birthday, and absolutely loves it! It keeps her attention for much longer than most toys. It is well made, and the sounds effects and songs are great, not tinny or grating like some toys that make noise. (And on a purely "nice-to-see" note, the pilot of the airplane is female!) I highly recommend it!
