tiny! November 15, 2008 I guess I didn't realize how small this toy was going to be. Especially for $7 worth of shipping!!! Not worth it!
Wonderful toy but a bit abstract for younger children January 31, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Because this great wooden motorcycle is a solid block of wood with wheels and a motorcycle image on both sides, most younger children think it's a tractor or car rather than a motorcycle. I've had several visiting children (1-3 years) insist that this is not a motorcyle. They insist, because of the shape, and even after looking at the images on the vehicle's side, that it's a tractor, a truck, or a car. They want something with handlebars and a seat, not a solid piece of wood. I prefer to have safe toys rather than obvious ones, so I like this toy. But our motorcycle enthusiast children and friends do not. If you have a hardcore motorcycle fan on your hands, maybe get a wooden motorcycle that is assembled like a motorcyle, rather than a block of wood painted (to look like a motorcycle (it might be printed or stained or some other process to apply the motorcycle look--I don't know the technical side of woodworking. I just know it's carved more like a car than a motorcycle).
This company does great cars and trucks, and we haven't had any toddler frustration related to those.
