Product Description Tyco R/C, creators of the original hovercraft, bring you Airblade, the next generation in R/C hovercrafts. Airblade features not one but three air cushions. Hover over land, snow, ice, and water. Airblade is watertight and fully amphibious. Tilt and rotate the rear air cushions by radio control to steer and propel Airblade instantly, unlike previous hovercrafts. Airblade vehicle's new high power rechargeable 12-volt NiMH battery system pushes runtime and performance to new levels. Tough construction and awesome styling make Airblade rise above the rest. Requires 12V battery and charger and one 9V battery for transmitter, all included.
Amazon.com Review For those remote control vehicle buffs who have grown weary of cars and airplanes, the Air Blade hovercraft is sure to liven things up! This amazing vehicle has the unique ability to float on air and make contact with the ground in order to produce high speeds and tight turns. When air is drawn into the top grille of the vehicle, it becomes pressurized and is then directed out the three bottom air pods. The hovercraft actually floats along the ground on a cushion of air. Players pilot the craft by moving the controls on the transmitter so that the two rear air pods tilt, rotate, and touch the ground. The hovercraft works equally well on (or over) land, snow, or water, as long as the "terrain" is relatively smooth (no pebbles, powdery snow, choppy water, shag carpeting, etc.). The Air Blade is a sleekly designed vessel, with slick graphics and racing stripes
every bit the vehicle of tomorrow! 12V NiMH battery and charger are included.--Emilie Coulter

Great stuff!! April 5, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I give two Tyco R/C AirBlade Hovercraft to my nephews and bouth work very well. Of course not like in the comercial when they cross over the water, that not really hapen, but they really enjoyt. There is one single problem and like in other RC the battery ran out very fast. But if you have and xtra battery you gona have very good time.
Wonderful Toy January 21, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful toy for an older child. Both my boys(12 & 8) love to play with it.It is a bit hard for the younger(8)to control. But he is determined to learn. All in all it is fun and provides great outside intertainment.

The Tyco AirBlade Hovercraft got really awesome reviews. It was the best christmas gift that I may have given.
Totally Cool! January 19, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bought these for my boys, ages 6 and 4, and they just love 'em. The charge holds really well for such a high-powered toy. They mostly play with them in the driveway, but they also enjoy running these through the icy grass. These are a big hit in my house. Be sure to buy different operating freqs so your kids can use them at the same time.
Fast, versatile and FUN. January 19, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought it for my son (5 year old) for Christmas, and he just loves it. Our house has hardwood floor, which is perfect for this hovercraft to float around, but it runs fine over carpets as well. We haven't tried it on the water yet but I have no doubt it will work fine there as well, as those three black wheels have big foam inside. So far, the only (minor) complaints are: the relatively short battery life, and lack of any indicator on the charger (you can't tell whether the battery is fully charged or not).
