The two year old grand sons love that the police car makes the real sound. I purchased the BRIO police car, fire truck, ambulance, and locomotive that all make different sounds, for all of my grand children. At this young age they love that the different cars make different sounds. The cars them selves unfortunately have only a weak magnet in front and the strong magnet in the back. I wish that all the cars would have had the strong magnets both in the front and back, because then they could have been included in very long trains with many coaches. But he Safari train fortunately has a lot of coaches, so I got that one too. All the 4 coaches in the Safari train has strong magnets on both sides.
