Super lil' gator fun! December 27, 2008 My 6 year old loves this - it was one of her most played with gifts this Christmas! Love the lights and ease of control. Super little thing :)
Very durable and lots of fun December 27, 2008 I purchased this toy for my son who is not quite 5. The controls are very easy to use and he quickly picked it up. It seems very durable, although we have yet to take it outside and run it through the water. Climbs over almost anything and goes very fast. He has had a lot of fun with it so far.
Fun, but breaks easy. December 26, 2008 I had high hopes for this toy, but it started to fall apart hours after it was taken out of the box. 1) The plastic on/off switch on the back of the car fell off (you can still turn it on/off with a needle nose pliers--there is a little black switch inside) 2) One of the headlights occasionally won't light up and needs a little tap to come back on, 3) The paint work on the headlights scratches/flakes off easy, and 4) the rubber string antenna on the car rips out easy (but still seems to work without it, at close distance at least). The antenna on the controller is heavy-duty, and they should have put a similar one on the car. Everything else about the car is great. It seems like they skimped on a few areas they shouldn't have.
Awesome toy! September 11, 2008 Loved the toy! And the price. It was THE hit at a 3 year old's birthday party. I am planning to order one for my 4 year old daughter. She loves it!
tough toy for tough kids August 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for our 4 year old son for fine motor and motor planning improvement. He was able to navigate this toy right out the box and because it moves 360 degrees, it really makes our son think about how to get out tight spots like corners, between & under furniture, etc. We have had the toy for about 1.5 months and have not experienced any quality issues. He plays with it almost every day and made his own special place to "park" it. We haven't tried it in water yet, so that may prove to be a whole different issue, but as for the "land" endurance inside & out, it holds up in our book!
