Product Description Even trains need a place to call home, and now you can be sure that they have it. With this 5-Door Round House, no train will ever be left out in the cold. A great accessory to add to any set. Doors open and close with child's help so that the trains are safe over night. Compatible with Thomas the Tank Engine, Brio trains and other fine wooden train sets (sold separately). Not compatible with Thomas & Friends Turntable.

Nice round house for a toddler's train set October 17, 2008 I got this for my 2-year old and he loves it but it is much larger than i imagined and it takes up most of his train table. He doesn't mind - he loves the doors and it is a really beautiful item - lots of detail. If your set is on the floor or on a very big table, it is great, but for a 3'x5' table, it takes up more space than i had imagined.
Great size and great price over the Thomas big roundhouse January 17, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great roundhouse compared to the Thomas brand big roundhouse which I had and sold because it was so huge. The size of this maxim shed only allows for one train per bay and not their tender (except for james who sticks out a bit). My son doesn't mind taking them apart and parking them individually. We don't have the turntable yet (I ordered the maxim one for $6.39) though for the younger kids they don't mind just picking them up and turning them around. Also there are no dividing walls and the doors are a bit annoying to work with so you can just turn all the doors 90 degrees inward and you get dividing walls as well as not having to mess with the doors. I just gave him the shed already set up this way and he loves it.
