The little engine that CAN July 27, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My son LOVES this train. We have had it now for 2 years and it is still going strong. It isn't a fast train but he can take the hills like a pro.
My 2 yr old LOVES this train May 6, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We had to buy this train after our old one broke. It's our 2 1/2 yr old son's favorite toy. Unfortunately, the front wheels keep coming off. My husband super glued it so I'm hoping it will stay. It's a great little train but just be smart and use rechargeable batteries! :)
Cute little battery hog January 19, 2007 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This train is very cute. The cement mixer turns around and the coal car rocks back and forth as it moves, but it does not have a lot of power and we find ourselves replacing the batteries every 3-5 days.
After the first couple days the train will go slowly around a flat track, but will barely be able to get up a hill (without the additional cars attached). Our other battery powered train is the same way so I'm not sure if it is this train or just something with all small battery powered trains.
We bought rechargeable batteries, but it is still a bit annoying to have to replace them so often with a 3 year old bouncing around wanting the toy.
My son loves the train and plays with it all the time, I just wished it lasted longer and had more power. If I could, I would give it 3.5 stars.
